Answer:

At first, the motion of the graph is very low. But at point at 40-60 seconds, it peaked in motion. Then the motion went back down at 80-100 seconds.

Which choice defines AC and DC correctly?
Aleks [24]

Answer: Option (B) is the correct answer.

Explanation:

Direct current is a current which flows in one direction, that is, flow of electrons is only in one direction.

Whereas alternate current is a current which reverses periodically, that is, there will be change in direction of electrons after a period of time.

Thus, we can conclude that the statement, In DC, electrons move in only one direction. In AC, electrons move in one direction and then in the other direction defines AC and DC correctly.

Two soccer players start from rest, 36 m apart. They run directly toward each other, both players accelerating. The first player
Cerrena [4.2K]
A) Both players are moving by uniformly accelerated motion, and we can write the position at time t of each of the two players as follows:
x_1(t)= \frac{1}{2}a_1 t^2
x_2(t)=d- \frac{1}{2}a_2 t^2
where
a_1 = 0.58 m/s^2 is the acceleration of the first player
a_2=0.42 m/s^2 is the acceleration of the second player
d=36 m is the initial distance between the two players
and where I put a negative sign in front of the acceleration of the second player, since he's moving in the opposite direction of the first player.

The time t at which the two players collide is the time t at which x_1 = x_2, therefore:
\frac{1}{2}a_1 t^2 = d- \frac{1}{2}a_2 t^2
from whic we find
t= \sqrt{ \frac{2d}{a_1+a_2} }= \sqrt{ \frac{2 \cdot 36 m}{0.58 m/s^2+0.42 m/s^2} }=8.5 s

b) We can use the equation of x_1(t) to find how far the first player run in t=8.5 s:
x_1(t)= \frac{1}{2}a_1 t^2= \frac{1}{2}(0.58 m/s^2)(8.5 s)^2=21.0 m

An organism's scientific name consists of...
Finger [1]

Answer:

binomial nomenclature.

Explanation:

This means that an organism's scientific name is a combination of two terms.

The first is the name of the organism's genus, and the second is the name of the organism's species

together the genus and the species create the name of a single organism.

A ten-loop coil having an area of 0.23 m2 and a very large resistance is in a 0.047-T uniform magnetic field oriented so that th
inysia [295]

Answer:

The magnitude of the average emf induced in the coil is approximately o.32 V.

Explanation:

As, no. of loops = N = 10

Area = 0.23 m^2

Magnetic field = B = 0.047 T

Δt = 0.34 s

These are the given things now we have to find the EMF. So the formula of emf is:

emf = e = N×ΔФ/Δt

Therefore, ΔФ = B . ΔA = BΔAcos(θ)

Since, flux is maximum so θ = 0 and cos(0) = 1

Then,

ΔФ = BA

e = N×(BΔA)/Δt

e = 10×(0.047×0.23)/0.34

e = 0.317 V.

So, we can write it by rounding off the digit

e ≅ 0.32 V.

A space probe is orbiting a planet on a circular orbit of radius R and a speed v. The acceleration of the probe is a. Suppose ro
Mamont248 [21]

Answer:

acceleration in the new orbit is 8 time of acceleration of planet in old orbit

a_{new} = 8a.

Explanation:

given data:

radius of orbit = R

Speed pf planet = v

new radius = 0.5R

new speed = 2v

we know that acce;ration is given as

a = \frac{v^{2}}{R},

a_{new} =\frac{(2v)^{2}}{0.5R},

           = \frac{4v^{2}}{0.5R}

          = \frac{8 v^{2}}{R}

a_{new} = 8a.

acceleration in the new orbit is 8 time of acceleration of planet in old orbit
