Hypotenuse ² = perpendicular² + base²

• Base = 22

• Perpendicular = 27

• Hypotenuse = x

$\implies \: {x}^{2} = {27}^{2} + {22}^{2}$

Square of 27 and 22 are 729 and 484 respectively.

$\implies \: x = 729 + 484$

$\implies \: x {}^{2} = 1,213$

$\implies \: x = 34.82 \: (approx)$
