Answer:

Clouds form when rising air, through expansion, cools to the point where some of the water vapor molecules "clump together" faster than they are torn apart by their thermal energy. Some of that (invisible) water vapor condenses to form (visible) cloud droplets or ice crystals.

*(form when moist, warm rising air cools and expands in the atmosphere.)

Explanation:

1.) Light from the sun hits the surface of the earth. A large part of the solar radiation is absorbed by the ground and gradually heats it up.

2.) Constant heat reaching the surface of the ground causes air to heat up. The heated air becomes lighter, which causes it to rise above the cooler air which lies above it. This process is called convection.

3.) Rising hot air is pushed further upward by wind blowing over terrain such as mountains, or over cliffs onto land from the sea. This process is called orographic uplift. Wetter areas are generally found near high terrain features, as the air cools at a quicker rate around these areas.

4.) Air is also forced to rise at a weather front. This is due to the differing air masses of the two weather fronts. At cold fronts, cold air is pushed under warm air, forcing it upward and at a warm front, warm moist air is forced up and over the cold air. This process is called convergence or frontal lifting.

5.) Clouds begin to develop in any air mass that becomes saturated. Saturation point is reached when the air reaches its frost point. At this point, air gradually cools, preventing it from rising any further. Water vapor molecules within air begin to clump together.

6.) Water vapor condenses to form cloud droplets or ice crystals. This can be at various heights, which creates a variety of different cloud systems. Clouds contain millions of droplets of water or ice, depending on the temperature, which are suspended in the air.

hopefully my answer helps! ♡

(if my answers helped you please tell me, therefore I know.. that I did them correctly or incorrectly. anyways, have a great day/night!)

Answer clouds from when moist, warm rising air cools and expands in the atmosphere. The water vapor in the air condenses to form tiny water droplets which are the basis of clouds.

A bicycle of mass m requires 50 J of work to move from rest to a final speed v. If the same amount of work is performed during t
insens350 [35]

Answer:

The final speed of the second bicycle is (v·√2)/2

Explanation:

The mass of the given bicycle = m

The amount of work required to move the bicycle from rest to speed v = 50 J

The final speed of the first bicycle = v

The mass of the second bicycle = 2m

Therefore, from conservation of energy, we have;

Work required by the first bicycle = Kinetic energy gained by the bicycle

The kinetic energy = 1/2·m·v²

∴ Energy required by the first bicycle = 50 J = 1/2·m·v²

Given that the same amount of work is performed on the second bicycle, we have;

Work performed on the second bicycle = 50 J = kinetic energy of second bicycle = 1/2·(2·m)·v₂²

Also, given that 50 J = 1/2·m·v², we have;

Work performed on the second bicycle = 50 J = 1/2·m·v²= 1/2·(2·m)·v₂²

1/2·m·v²= 1/2·(2·m)·v₂²

m·v² = 2·m·v₂²

v² = 2·v₂²

v₂ = √(v²/2) = v/√2 = (v·√2)/2

v₂ = (v·√2)/2

The final speed of the second bicycle = v₂ = (v·√2)/2.

How do amps correlate to brightness?
Nezavi [6.7K]
The watts determine the brightness. Watt is the unit of Power. And Power is equal to Voltage x Amps (current). So both the current and voltage determine the brightness.
