Describe the steps of aerobic cellular respiration and the amount of energy produced by each step.
Setler [38]

Aerobic cellular respiration have 3 parts, this is Glycolysis, Pyruvate Oxidation and Krebs cycle.

<h3>How is the aerobic breathing process?</h3>

Aerobic respiration consists of carrying out the process of degradation of organic molecules, reducing them to molecules with practically no releaseable energy. The products of the initial degradation of the organic molecule are combined with oxygen in the air and transformed into carbon dioxide and water.

In this case, Aerobic cellular respiration have 3 parts:

  • Glycolysis(yeilds 2ATP & 2NADH).
  • Pyruvate Oxidation(yeilds 2NADH).
  • Krebs cycle(yeilds 2GTP,2FADH2 & 6NADH).

So the total =4ATPs (2GTP equivalent to 2ATP) +10NADH (equivalent to 30ATPs) + 2FADH2(4 ATPs) =38 ATPs.

Which has more KE a baseball traveling at 50 mph or a baseball travelling at 100 mph? Explain.
Trava [24]
A baseball traveling at 100 mph has more kinetic energy than a baseball traveling at 50 mph because the kinetic energy = 1/2 x mass x velocity. Since the baseballs should have the same mass, the velocity is what will determine which ball has more kinetic energy. Since the 100 mph baseball has a higher velocity than the 50 mph baseball, it has more kinetic energy.

aleksklad [387]

Answer:

He's 3 miles west of school.

Explanation:

He went 5 miles up and 5 miles down which means that he really didn't go up or down.  In between that, he went 3 miles west so if the 5 milers don't count, this puts him at 3 miles west of school.

An open pipe, 0.29 m long, vibrates in the second overtone with a frequency of 1,227 Hz. In this situation, the fundamental freq
Andru [333]

Answer:

f = 409 Hz

Explanation:

We have,

Length of the open organ pipe, l = 0.29 m

Frequency of vibration of second overtone, f_2 = 1227 Hz

It is required to find the fundamental frequency of the pipe. For the open organ pipe, the frequency of second overtone is given by :

f_2=\dfrac{3v}{2l}

v is speed of sound

Let f is the fundamental frequency. It is given by :

f=\dfrac{v}{2l}

The relation between f and f₂ can be written as :

f_2=3f\\\\f=\dfrac{f_2}{3}\\\\f=\dfrac{1227}{3}\\\\f=409\ Hz

So, the fundamental frequency of the pipe is 409 Hz.
