Answer:

-45 =x

Step-by-step explanation:

1/5(4x-2.5) = 5(.4x+10) +3 1/2

Change all to decimal form

.2(4x-2.5) = 5(.4x+10) +3.5

Distribute

.8x - .5 = 2x +50 + 3.5

Combine like terms

.8x - .5 = 2x +53.5

Subtract .8x from each side

.8x-.8x - .5 = 2x-.8x +53.5

-.5 = 1.2x +53.5

Subtract 53.5 from each side

-.5 -53.5 = 1.2x +53.5-53.5

-54 = 1.2x

Divide each side by 1.2

-54/1.2 = 1.2x /1.2

-45 =x

Answer:

The values of x so that y = \csc x have vertical asymptotes are -2\pi, -\pi, 0, \pi, 2\pi.

Step-by-step explanation:

The function cosecant is the reciprocal of the function sine and vertical asymptotes are located at values of x so that function cosecant becomes undefined, that is, when function sine is zero, whose periodicity is \pi. Then, the  vertical asymptotes associated with function cosecant are located in the values of x of the form:

x = 0\pm \pi\cdot i, \forall \,i\in \mathbb{N}_{O}

In other words, the values of x so that y = \csc x have vertical asymptotes are -2\pi, -\pi, 0, \pi, 2\pi.

Find the length of each missing side and each missing angle in the isosceles triangles below
goldenfox [79]

Answer:

x = 5

y = 46

z = 88

Step-by-step explanation:

x  is opposite one of the equal base angles. The other side is marked 5. Therefore x = 5

y is opposite one of the equal sides. It is an angle. It is equal to the other base angle whose measurement is given. y = 46

y + 46 + z = 180                   All triangles have 180 degrees. y = 46 (above)

46 + 46 + z = 180

92 + z = 180                        Subtract 92

z = 180 - 92

z = 88
