Very easy and simple division problem. All we need to do is divide the total number (2256) by the amount that they paid (12). This will give us how many people they payed for. The equation looks like this:
2256 ÷ 12 = 188.
If you need to prove this you can do 188 x 12 to find out for yourself. (It also equals 2256 proving the point.)
