first you need to mulitply 13 x 3 which is 39, then subtract 2 which is 37.
f(x) = 6x - 12
y = 6x - 12
y + 12 = 6x - 12 + 12
<u>y + 12</u> = <u>6x</u>

y = ¹/₆x + 2
f⁻¹(x) = ¹/₆x + 2
f⁻¹(-3) = ¹/₆(-3) + 2
f⁻¹(-3) = -¹/₂ + 2
f⁻¹(-3) = 1¹/₂
(x, f⁻¹(x)) = (-3, 1¹/₂)
