Answer:

For given parallelogram, the value of x = 114° and y = 66°

Step-by-step explanation:

(Refer figure)

Given quadrilateral ABCD is a parallelogram.

m∠A = 66°

m∠B = x°

m∠C = y°

m∠D = 114°

Since by properties of parallelogram, the both pairs of opposite sides of a parallelogram are parallel.

Opposite angles of a parallelogram are congruent ...........................(1)

Consecutive angles of a parallelogram are supplementary ................(2)

Using (1) for given parallelogram ABCD; we get,

m∠B = m∠D

m∠A = m∠C

Therefore x = 114° and y = 66°.

Using (2) to check whether the two consecutive angles are supplementary.

( m∠A + m∠D ) =  ( m∠B + m∠C ) = ( m∠C + m∠D ) = 66° + 114° = 180°

Hope it helps!!

The triangle inequality
klemol [59]
The answer is the first choice: 7, 15, 20.
When you want to know what three numbers can make up a triangle. All you have to do is take the first two numbers and add them up. If the sum is larger than the third number, it can form a triangle. If the sum of the first two numbers are smaller than the third number, it cannot form a triangle.
Hope this helped

When taking skinfold measurement readings only one attempt per site is necessary for an accurate reading.a. Trueb. False
Eva8 [605]

Answer: False

Step-by-step explanation: Skinfold measurements is one of the oldest ways of measuring a person's fat percentage,it's usually taken in specific areas of the body where there are Skinfolds, while taking this measurements it is expected that the person taking it does the average of 2or more repeated measurements in order to ensure that the actual thickness of that area of the body is correctly entered.

It is specifically taken from the right side of the body, where the person pinches out the Skinfolds away from the body by attaching a caliper ,this is to ensure that only the fatty laters are considered, it is mainly presented in percentage.

Volume is Length x width x height divided by 3. You have the length and the width. which equals 24. (6x4). The volume that is present is 72... the last thing you do in the equation is divide by three so multiply 72 by 3 and get 216. This is the LxWxH. Like I said before you have the L and the W, which is 24. You would divide 24 from 216. The Height is 9cm.
