Why do igneous rocks not contain fossils in them ?
Mashutka [201]

Answer:

Igneous rocks do not contain any fossils.

What is nacl monosaccharide disaccharide organic or inorganic?
bonufazy [111]
inorganic Let's look at the choices and see why they work, or don't work. monosaccharide * Otherwise known as a simple sugar. And NaCl is definitely not a sugar of any type. So this is wrong. disaccharide * Complex sugar. And NaCl doesn't qualify either. organic * A definition of an organic compound is one that has carbon in it. NaCl has sodium and chlorine. No carbon at all, so this isn't the right answer. And I wish that organic was an earlier choice, since the sugars mentioned above are organic compounds. inorganic * This is the only possible choice. Salt is not an organic compound since it doesn't have carbon. So it can't be a sugar either. But it can and is inorganic.

The overall charge of an atom is ________ if the number of electrons is ________ than the number of protons.
miss Akunina [59]
The overall charge of an atom is positive if the number of electrons is less than the number of protons. Electrons are negatively charged particles while protons are positively charged particles. If there are less electrons as compared to the number of protons in an atom, then naturally the overall charge of the atom would be positive since there are excess protons. Another case would be that the overall charge of an atom is negative if the number of electrons is greater than the number of protons. An atom having more electrons than the number of the protons present would lead to a negative value of the charge since there are excess electrons.
