S. cerevisiae occurs in nature on ripe fruit because the environment is suitable for them that provides food in the form of sugar while S. epidermidis naturally occurs on human skin because it needs wet and humid environment which is available on human body such as armpits. Due to the presence of suitable environmental condition, both S. cerevisiae and S. epidermidis are present on fruits and human skin respectively.
