Remark
There are two ways to do this. You can graph the equations (which I have included at the end of the question using Desmos) or you can solve it algebraically which in this case is going to be slightly painful.
Algebra
Multiply the first equation by 4 and the second by 3
First Equation
4 [3x + 4y = 16]
12x + 16y = 64 (3)
Second Equation
3 [-4x - 3y = - 19]
- 12x - 9y = - 57 (4)
Add (3) and (4)
12x + 16y = 64
- 12x - 9y = -57 Add
7y = 7 Divide by 7
y = 1
Solve for x
3x + 4y = 16 Let y = 1
3x + 4(1) = 16
3x + 4 = 16 Subtract 4
3x = 12 Divide by 3
x = 12/3
x = 4
Answer
(4,1) just as the graph suggests.
Number 1 and number 3 are the same because if you are purchasing three tires that is 75% off the tires you need and one of them you get free. the free one becomes the overall discount of 25% off. number 3 is the same, the one quarter represents 25% off of the purchase.
For this case we have the following polynomials:

To divide the polynomials we must follow the following steps:
1) Same base, the exponents are added.
2) Only terms that have the same exponent can be added or subtracted.
3) If the remainder is zero, the division is exact.
Answer:
Note: see attached image for the solution.
Q1:-
-------
12*12= 144
11*11=121
so the answer of 1. lies between 11 and 12
Q2:-
--------
9*9=81
10*10=100
so sqrt(82) is between 9 and 10
Multiply by 3 on both sides of the equation to get
by+2=3c
Then subtract 2 from both sides to get
by=3c-2
Divide by b on both sides to get
y=(3c-2)/b
