Answer:

Q. 3

V_{cone} =565.2\: cm^3

Q. 4

V_{cone} =3,014.4\: cm^3

Step-by-step explanation:

Q. 3

Radius of the cone (r) = 6 cm

Height of the cone (h) = 15 cm

\because V_{cone} =\frac{1}{3} \pi r^2 h

\therefore V_{cone} =\frac{1}{3}\times 3.14 (6)^2 (15)

\therefore V_{cone} =\frac{1}{3}\times 3.14 (36) (15)

\therefore V_{cone} =565.2\: cm^3

Q. 4

Radius of the cone (r) = 12 cm

Height of the cone (h) = 20 cm

\because V_{cone} =\frac{1}{3}\pi r^2 h

\therefore V_{cone} =\frac{1}{3}\times 3.14 (12)^2 (20)

\therefore V_{cone} =\frac{1}{3}\times 3.14 (144) (20)

\therefore V_{cone} =3,014.4\: cm^3

The answer is A) √3
cot(-5π/6)=1/tan(-5π/6)
=1/tan(-(5π/6)
Use the property: tan(-x)=-tan(x)
=1/tan(5π/6)
-(1/tan(5π/6))
tan(5π/6)=-√3/3
-(1/-√3/3)
-(1/-√3/3)
=√3

Solve the system by the method of your choice x=3y-6,2x-6y=-12
igor_vitrenko [27]

The "system" of equations can't be solved for (x, y), because there's no "system" of equations given.  There's really only one equation.

Either of these two equations can be massaged to look exactly like the other one.  And if you graph both equations, you find that they're both the same line on the graph.

ANY point on the line is a solution to both equations ... and we all know how many different points there are on a line.
