Write area f a circle as a function of circumfrence

Mathematics
1 answer:
Y_Kistochka [10]3 years ago
4 0

circumference = 2\pi  \times r
area = \pi {r}^{2}
we want area =circumference*something
dividing our first equation by 2*pi
\frac{circumference}{2\pi}  = r
substituting in the second equation
area = \pi { (\frac{circumference}{2\pi}) }^{2}
simplifying
area = \pi(\frac{ {circumference}^{2} }{4 {\pi}^{2} } )
area =  \frac{{circumference} ^{2} }{4\pi}

Which number is one-half of the way between 2.2 and 8.5?
defon
Let us take 0instead of 2.2 meaning 8.5-2.2=6.3
then we need to find the mid of 6.3=3.15
then we need to add 2.2 to 3.15= 5.35

1 Draw the Venn diagram below. Write the numbers 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 in the correct places on your Venn diagram. multiples o
iragen [17]

Venn diagram is the representation of set in a graphical form

<em>See attachment for the set of multiples of 2, 13, 3 and 6 </em>

Given

Numbers = \{8,9,10,11,12,13\}

Let

<em />A \to<em> Multiples of 2</em>

<em />B \to<em> Multiples of 8</em>

<em />C \to<em> Multiples of 6</em>

<em />D \to<em> Multiples of 13</em>

<em />

First, we split the numbers in set of the given multiples

A: \{8, 10, 12\}

B = \{8\}

C =\{12\}

D = \{13\}

Digit 9 does not belong to any of these set

<em />

<em>Set B and set C are proper subsets of set A.</em>

This means that sets B and C will be inside set A in the Venn diagram

So, we have:

A = \{B,10,C\}

Since 9 does not belong to any of the sets, it will not be inside any of sets A, B, C or D

See attachment for the required Venn diagram
