Which atom as the lower ionization energy? Sr or Br
ozzi

Sr is the atom that has the lower ionization energy.

Ionization is the procedure by using which ions are shaped by the gain or loss of an electron from an atom or molecule. If an atom or molecule gains an electron, it becomes negatively charged (an anion), and if it loses an electron, it will become definitely charged (a cation). energy may be misplaced or received within the formation of an ion.

Ionization or Ionisation is the manner by means in which an atom or a molecule acquires a negative or superb price through gaining or dropping electrons, regularly along with other chemical modifications. The resulting electrically charged atom or molecule is referred to as an ion.

while sodium and chlorine integrate to make salt, the sodium atom offers up an electron resulting in a wonderful charge, while chlorine receives the electron and will become negatively charged as an end result.

Ions are atoms that have become___ as they have lost or gained electrons<br> whats in the gap?
GuDViN [60]

Answer:

Positively or negatively charged (im not 100% sure but the question says "as they have lost or gained electrons") because atoms that gain electrons are called anions and atoms that lose electrons are called cations. atoms losing electrons are positively charged and atoms gaining electrons are negatively charged.

I'm not sure if this helps a lot but now you know a few things about ions :)

The germ theory of disease eventually led to the development of _______.
a_sh-v [17]

The germ theory of disease eventually led to the development of certain types of vaccines. This theory explains that specific type or types of microorganisms, which are bacteria, virus, fungi, or protest species, cause some diseases. These organisms can enter the human body, and can even grow and reproduce, causing infection, inflammation to specific organs in the body, and others. One particular vaccine developed successfully through this understanding is the smallpox vaccine, which is an important vaccine up to this day.
