Ok, this definition of f is just a bunch of points (4 to be exact).

so if point (a,b) is part of f, then f(a)=b

f(1) is about point (1,0), so f(1)=0.
g(1) = 1 (due to point (1,1))
g(2/3) = 0
f(2) = 3/4
g(-2) = 3
f(π) = -2

What is the equation of the line with an x-intercept of -1 and a y-intercept of 2?
iragen [17]

Answer:

y = 2x + 2

Step-by-step explanation:

The general form

is;

y = mx + b

where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept

so we have;

y = mx + 2

To get m, substitute the point (-1,0)

So we have

0 = -m + 2

m = 2

So the equation is;

y = 2x + 2

Write the complex number in polar form with argument between 0 and 2.
pychu [463]

<em>Lets say that √(3+i) is the magnitude of your vector. In polar form, i represents the x component and j represents the y component of the vector. Therefore, the polar form is icosθ√(3+i) + jsinθ√(3+i)</em>

draw a diagram :

<em>z = r(cos θ + i sin θ), where z = complex number, r = modulus, θ = angle of rotation For the given:r = 2θ = π/6 √3 + i = 2(cos π/6 + i sin π/6)</em>

For a sample of n = 36 that has a sample variance of 1,296, what is the estimated standard error for the sample? 6 37 36 6. 9
Liula [17]

The estimated standard error for the sample is 6

Given,

Sample size, n = 36

Sample variance, s^{2} = 1296

Standard deviation, s = √1296

                                   = 36

Standard error, SE = \frac{s}{\sqrt{n} }

                              = \frac{36}{\sqrt{36} }

                              = \frac{36}{6}

                              = 6

Concept

  • Sample size is the number of participants or observations included in a study. It is denoted by ‘n’
  • Sample variance is a measure of the degree to which the numbers in a list are spread out. It is denoted by 's^{2}'
  • Standard deviation is a measure of how dispersed the data is in relation to the mean. It is denoted by ‘s’
