El Nino refers to the phenomenon where the East Pacific Ocean is anomalously warm. This condition produces wet weather to the western countries of south America. Under normal conditions these areas are dry. El Nino also decreases rainfall and hurricane activity in the Atlantic and Caribbean region. Severe droughts will persist when this occurs. La Nina occurs when the temperature of the pacific is cooler than normal. When is occurs The Caribben and Atlantic experiences higher than normal rainfall and the South american coast is drier.

How can trace fossils provide info on how the organism lived
iragen [17]
Fossils provide a window in Earth's history by showing us how they existed in the past. They can be dated through several ways and can show us how animals and plants have evolved over millions of years. Also, fossils can help us better understand ancient disasters by the inclusion of elements (such as <span>volcanic ash or dust from major space object impacts) and how they affected the life on earth)</span>

4) A 4.00 L balloon is filled with 0.297 moles of helium gas with a pressure
Nadya [2.5K]

Answer: 149

Explanation:

Using the ideal gas equation; PV = nRT

P= Pressure = 0.910 atm,     T= Temperature = ?

V= Volume = 4.0L                  R = Gas constant = 0.08206 L.atm/mol/K

n = number of moles = 0.297

Making 'T' the subject of the formular, we have;

T = P V/ n R   =  0.910  x 4  /  0.297 x 0.08206

                       =  149

Calculate the molarity of a solution consisting of 65.5 g of K2S0 4 in 5.00 L of solution.
tia_tia [17]

Answer:

<u>Molarity</u><u> </u><u>is</u><u> </u><u>0</u><u>.</u><u>0</u><u>7</u><u>5</u><u> </u><u>M</u><u>.</u><u> </u>

Explanation:

Moles:

{ \tt{ =  \frac{65.5}{RFM} }}

RFM of potassium sulphate :

{ \tt{ = (39 \times 2) + 32 + (16 \times 4)}} \\  = 174 \: g

substitute:

{ \tt{moles =  \frac{65.5}{174}  = 0.376 \: moles}}

In volume of 5.00 l:

{ \tt{5.00 \: l  = 0.376 \: moles}} \\ { \tt{1 \: l = ( \frac{0.376}{5.00} ) \: moles}} \\ { \tt{molarity = 0.075 \: mol \: l {}^{ - 1} }}
