While multiplying a negative and another negative integer, the product's will be positive. While multiplying a positive and another positive integer, the product will be positive. It means that of the integers have same sign, then their product's sign will be positive. But, if the integers have different signs, i.e., one of them is positive and the other is negative, then the product will have negative sign.

While dividing a negative from another negative integer, the quotient will be positive. While dividing a positive from another positive integer, the quotient will be positive. It means that of the integers have same sign, then their quotient's sign will be positive. But, if the integers have different signs, i.e., one of them is positive and the other is negative, then the quotient will have negative sign.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the divided amount between ramu and muni be 3x and 2x respectively.

Then

3x + 2x = 560

5x = 560

x = 560/ 5

x = 112

Amount received by Ramu

= 3 * 112 = 336

Amount received by muni

= 2 * 112 = 224

1.5 cups

Step-by-step explanation:

We can use ratios to solve

14 pancakes        21 pancakes

------------------ = ------------

1 cup                  x cups

Using cross products

14x = 21*1

Divide each side by 14

14x/14 = 21/14

x = 3/2

Please help and explain A B C D
avanturin [10]
A) Amount of money earned by seji = s
    Amount of money earned by Gavin = g
   So, equation would be:  s+g = 425

B) Solving the system: s+g = 425
        we know, g = s+25
     Substitute it into the equation:
      s+s+25 = 425
      2s = 400
      s = 200
     so, g = 200+25 = 225

C) Graph for the equation, Mark (s,g) = (200,225) then, draw the line from the  origin.

D) Seiji earned = $200
    Gavin earned = $225   [ Solved in B part ]

Hope this helps!
