Well
It is in the form of a/b + b/a = (a sqr + b sqr)ab

Substitute
(Sin sqr theta + cos sqr theta) +2 cos theta + 1. 2 + 2cos theta
———————————————————————— = ————————-
Sin theta(1+cos theta). Sin theta (1 + cos theta)

2(1+ cos theta)/sin theta(1 + cos theta). {1 + cos theta cancelled}
2/sin theta. Hope it helps :}

Would the scale factor 4/5 reduce, enlarge, or preserve?
Ivan

The first one would reduce the size because it would now be 4/5 of the actual size

The scale factor 7/2 would enlarge it because it is getting 3 1/2 time larger than the oringanl size

In ΔPQR, sin R = <img src="https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=%5Cfrac%7B3%7D%7B5%7D" id="TexFormula1" title="\frac{3}{5}" alt="\frac{3}{5}"
solong [7]

Answer:

Since we know that ΔPQR is a right triangle, we can also asume that:

sin R = cos P = 3/5

So the answer is (d).

* This formular can also be applied to other right triangles.

In a right triangle, sine of one acute angle will always be equal to cosine of the other acute angle.

And we can check this by actually finding cos P using the lengths of the sides, by calculating PR first:

PR = √(PQ² + RQ²) = √(12² + 16²) = 20

=> cos P = PQ/PR = 12/20 = 3/5

Find the least common multiple for each list of numbers 5, 7
ddd [48]
Multiples of 5 are: 5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,.......

Multiples of 7 are: 7,14,21,28,35,42,49,63,......

So the least common number is these two sets is 35, which is the least common multiple of 5 and 7

Hope you got it
