Answer:

Below.

Step-by-step explanation:

I'll write sin x as s and cos x as c so we have:

(1 + s +c)/(1 + s - c) = (1 + c)/s

Cross multiplying:

s + s^2 + cs = 1 + s - c + c + cs - c^2

s + s^2 + cs = 1 + s + cs - c^2

s^2 + c^2 + s - s + cs - cs = 1

s^2 + c^2 = 1.

- that is sin^2 x + cos^2 x = 1 which is a known identity.

Therefore the original identity is proved.

Vesnalui [34]
Jill is picking up everyone's waterbill so she is paying $60 plus $125 (being half of the water bill) so that comes out to $185.
D=185 in this case

Ron is paying for 1/3 of the rent plus the other half of the water bill. That comes out to 1/3R+125.
A=1/3R+125

And then Jack is paying for Jill's rent as well as his own. That is 2/3 of the rent.
C=2/3R

and then the choice not used is the 'no match' option. Hope this helps :)

the pencil and the laptop computer are both tools that help writers accomplish their tasks. Follow the clues below to find the y
BartSMP [9]
What you do is divide the sum by 2. You will come out with and answer of 1891. Now, to figure out the years they were invented you take the difference of 192 and divide that in half also. It will come out to 96. Now, you subtract 1891 by 96 and that is the year the pencil was invented (1795=pencil) now with the other half (1891) you add on 96 and you’ll come out with the answer of 1987.

Pencil=1795
Laptop computer=1987.

Hope this helped!

PLEASE HELP I WILL GIVE 100+ POINTS
Setler [38]

Answer:

1. Area = b × h

A = 5 × 3

A = 15cm².

2. Area = ½(a + b) × h

A = ½(9 + 15) × 15

A = ½ × 24 × 15

A = 12 × 15

A = 180mm².

3. Area = 2(l × b) + l × b

A = 2(12 × 4) + 6 × 3

A = 2 × 48 + 18

A = 96 + 18

A = 114m².

PLEASE HELP! What is the area of triangle BCD in exact form? 35 points!
vampirchik [111]
This is a 30-60-90 triangle. The short leg is given to us as 5

The long leg is equal to sqrt(3) times the short leg

long leg = sqrt(3)*(short leg)
long leg = sqrt(3)*5
long leg = 5*sqrt(3)

The base is 5. The height is 5*sqrt(3)
b = 5
h = 5*sqrt(3)

Use this to find the area
A = b*h/2
A = 5*5*sqrt(3)/2
A = 25*sqrt(3)/2
which is the exact area in terms of a radical

You can write it out as \frac{25\sqrt{3}}{2}

a store selling a couch for $623 on a 24 month payment plan if your down payment of 152 is given and no interest is charged how
sveticcg [70]
First start with $623 and subtract the $152 deposit. Then divide that answer by 24, which equals 19.625. The monthly payment would be 19.63 monthly for 24 months.
