• 16 miles
  • 12 minutes is 1 /5 of a hour
  • 80 ÷ 5 is 16
  • or 80x 1.466 =117.28 ft per second
  • 12 minutes x 60 seconds is 720
  • 117.28× 720= 84,441.6
  • 84441.6÷ 5280= 15.992 miles.

2+6y+4m-2y+8-m
C-3+2x+2x+6x+4x
Alex777 [14]

Answer:

1. 2+6y+4m-2y+8-m

10+4y+3m

2. C-3+2x+2x+6x+4x

c+11

-------------------------------------------

Step-by-step explanation:

for question one-

if you combine all like terms you get a result of 10, 4y, and 3m. you create this into the proper expression and keep all the different terms separate, youre good to go !!

for question two-

once again, combine all like terms!! this is a very importiant step and as you go, you can cross off the terms you have combined. so you will get c and 11. and as i said previously, make them into a proper expression. so in result you will get c+11.

i hope i helped!! have a great day or night :)

The length of a rectangle is 6 yards less than triple the width. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 340 yards what are its dim
gregori [183]

length = 126 yards and width = 44 yards

let the width = w then length = 3w - 6

perimeter = 2( length + width)

               = 2( 3w - 6 + w) = 2( 4w - 6) = 8w - 12

noe perimeter = 340 hence

8w - 12 = 340

add 12 to both sides

8w = 340 + 12 = 352

divide both sides by 8 ⇒ w = \frac{352}{8} = 44

thus width = 44 yards and length = ( 3 × 44) - 6 = 126 yards

A larger error variance makes it difficult to estimate the partial effect of any of the independent variables on the dependent v
mel-nik [20]

A larger error variance making it difficult to estimate the partial effect of any of the independent variables on the dependent variable is True.

What is Variance?

This is used to measure how far a data is spread out and the effect independent variables has on the dependent ones.

When there is an error in the variance, the effect calculated is inaccurate which brings about difficulty in ascertaining it.
