The core values of America are summed up by Freedom, Justice, and Equality. Although there are many people who say that America has no problem with this, one may argue that it does not. Since the beginning of the start of America becoming a country, slavery and assimilation has been a major issue that has caused setbacks for many minorities and racial groups. Slavery and discrimination both play a part in why Natives and African Americans have high poverty rates, the loss of culture, ect. When it comes to the policing of African Americans, have been disproportionately incarcerated vs White Americans. This includes also being stopped, said they look suspicious, and the way things are handled.

Round 56,477,812 to the nearest hundred thousand,
GrogVix [38]

Answer:

56,500,000.

Step-by-step explanation:

56,477,812 rounded to the nearest hundred thousand:

The 4 is in the hundred thousands place, so we'll look at the next digit to the right of that, which is the 7:

56,477,812

Since 7 is more than 5, we'll have to go up a number, which will be the 4. Afterwards, we'll have to replace all the digits after the 4 with zeros.

56,500,000.

Multiply the two mixed numbers 4 1/2 x 3 2/3 simplify your answer and write it as a mixed number
konstantin123 [22]

Answer: 16 1/2

Step-by-step explanation:

It's easiest to multiply improper fractions and then to convert them back into mixed numbers, so 4 1/2 would become 9/2 and 3 2/3 would become 11/3. \frac{9}{2} *\frac{11}{3}= 99/6. Now just simplify to 33/2 and then convert back into a mixed number. 16 1/2

Different hotels in a certain area are randomly selected, and their ratings and prices were obtained online. Using technology,
hoa [83]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello!

A linear regression for the price of renting a room in a hotel and the rating said hotel received was calculated from a sample of n= 25 hotels.

The theoretical regression model is E(Y)= α + βXi

And the estimated regression equation is: ^Y= a + bXi

Where:

The estimator for the slope is b= 125

And the estimator of the Y-intercept is a= -400

So for this example the estimated regression line for the price of the hotel rooms given the ratings of the hotel is:

^Y= -400 + 125 Xi

^Y= represents the estimated average price of a hotel room

a= -400 is the estimated average price of a hotel room when the rating of the hotel is zero.

b= 125 is the modification of the estimated average price of a hotel room when the rating of the hotel increases one unit.

I hope this helps!
