Answer:

Explanation:

The 2 equations we need here are, first:

a=\frac{v_f-v_0}{t} and then once we solve for the acceleration here:

v^2=v_0^2+2aΔx

Solving for acceleration:

a=\frac{6-4}{10}=\frac{1}{5}\frac{m}{s^2} and now we will use that in the other equation:

6^2=4^2+2(\frac{1}{5})Δx and

36 = 16 + \frac{2}{5}Δx and

20 = \frac{2}{5}Δx and

\frac{5}{2}(20)= Δx so

Δx = 50 m

Why is it important that a finger be wet<br> before it is touched to a hot clothes iron?
AleksandrR [38]

Why is it important that your finger be wet if you intend to touch it briefly to a hot clothes iron to test its temperature. If your finger is wet, some of the heat transmitted to your finger will be given to the water which has a high specific heat capacity and also a larger latent heat of vaporization.

What two things will affect size of the electric force between two objects?
tatyana61 [14]

<u>Answer:</u>

The two things that affect the size of the electric force between two objects are "amount of charge on each object and distance between the charges".

<u>Explanation:</u>

The magnitude and sign of the electric force are estimated by the electric charge in "Coulombs Law" inspite of mass an object which is favorable in gravitational force. Therefore charge is the property of electromagnetism which influences the charged objects' motion.

More the charge on object more will be the electric force, as bigger charge cloud have more force than smaller.The electric force is inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the two charges. This showcase weaker attraction or repulsion as the distance increases between the two charges.

One way to ensure that the race ends up in a tie is to have the person who lost the original race run a shorter distance before
Vikki [24]

Answer:

The appropriate answer is "72.8 m".

Explanation:

Let the distance be "x".

As per the question, we get

⇒ T_{Mia}=T_{Brandi}

or,

⇒ \frac{x}{13} +\frac{x}{7}=\frac{\80}{10} +\frac{80}{10}

By taking L.C.M, we get

⇒ \frac{20x}{91}=16

By applying cross-multiplication, we get

⇒ 20x=1440

⇒     x=\frac{1456}{20}

⇒        =72.8\ m
