Area = 11 11/16 = 11.6875
Width 2 3/4 = 2.75

Area = width * height
11.6875 = 2.75 * height
height = 11.6875 / 2.75
          = 4.25

4.25 feet is less than the 5 foot space. Therefore, there is enough space on the wall to hang it.

The nutritional content per ounce of three foods is presented in the table below. If a meal consisting of the three foods allows
Monica [59]

Answer:

A = 5 ounces

B = 1 ounces

C = 4 ounces

Step-by-step explanation:

The 3 foods contain exactly 1800 calories but food A is 100 calories, food B is 500 calories and food C is 200 calories. Thus;

100A + 500B + 200C = 1800 - - - (eq 1)

The 3 meals allows exactly 75 grams of protein while A is 5 grams, B is 6 grams, C is 11 grams.

Thus;

5A + 6B + 11C = 75 - - - (eq 2)

The 3 meals allows exactly 5650 milligrams of vitamin C while A is 400 mg, B is 2050 mg and food C is 400 mg. Thus;

400A + 2050B + 400C = 5650 - -(eq 3)

Solving the 3 equations simultaneously online, we have;

A = 5 ounces

B = 1 ounces

C = 4 ounces

Which point is in the solution set of the given system of inequalities?
Feliz [49]

Answer:

(1/5, 9/5)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the set of inequities

x+y>2..... 1

4x-y≥-1 .... 2

We are to get the solution point (x,y)

Solving simultaneously

From 1:

x>2-y

Substitute into 2

4(2-y)-y≥-1

4(2)-4y-y≥-1

8-5y≥-1

-5u ≥-1-8

-5y ≥-9

y≤9/5

Since x>2-y

x>2 - 9/5

x>1/5

Hence the required point is (x,y) = (1/5, 9/5)
