5 0

Answer:

56 total

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of girls = x

Let the number of boys = 3x

x                      1

===       =    ==========

x + 28              3

Cross multiply

3x = x + 28                  Subtract x from both sides

3x - x = 28                   Combine

2x = 28                        Divide by 2

x = 28/2

x = 14

Girls = 14

Boys = 14 + 28 = 42

Is the ratio 3 to 1?

42/14 =  3/1 Yes it does

Total number

14 + 42 = 56

Cot(x)=-3. find sin(x)
ASHA 777 [7]

Answer:

sin(x)=1/\sqrt10

Step-by-step explanation:

The trigonometric identities involve trigonometric functions. Here we will be using Trigonometric identity

sin²x  = 1 /( 1+cot²x )

now cot(x)= -3

⇒ cot²x= (-3)²

⇒ cot²x= 9

sin²x= 1/( 1+9)

⇒ sin²x = 1/10

taking under root on both the sides we get

√sin²x=\sqrt1/\sqrt10

⇒ sin(x)=± 1/\sqrt10

Describe how total job benefits and total employee compensation differ.
mylen [45]

Explanation:

While employee compensation and job benefits are the terms that might overlap in meaning, they are usually understood to recognize two different ideas of remuneration.

Employee compensation implies or refers to the salary, annual incentives and longer term incentives like stock options and other equity compensation that he/she works for.

Job benefits as it is defined in ERISA (US law), implies health and welfare plans and pension plans, such as savings and paid time off.

Other benefits include: housing paid by the employer, with or without free utilities; insurances (health, dental, life etc.); disability income protection; retirement benefits; daycare; tuition reimbursement; sick leave; vacation (paid and non-paid); social security etc.

Compensation is purely the monetary aspect.

Benefits are the non-monetary items like heath insurance, even if you have to pay for it partly out of your own pocket.

Solve Sine inverse x +sine inverse 2x = π/3 <br> Please solve it faster..
LuckyWell [14K]
Arcsin x + arcsin 2x = π/3

arcsin 2x =  π/3 - arcsin x

sin[arcsin 2x] = sin[π/3 - arcsin x] (remember the left side is like sin(a-b)

2x = sinπ/3 cos(arcsin x)-cosπ/3 sin(arc sinx)

2x = √3/2 . cos(arcsin x) - (1/2)x)

but cos(arcsin x) = √(1-x²)===>2x = √3/2 .√(1-x²)  - (1/2)x)

Reduce to same denominator:

(4x) = √3 .√(1-x²)  - (x)===>5x = √3 .√(1-x²)

Square both sides==> 25x²=3(1-x²)

28 x² = 3 & x² = 3/28 &  x =√(3/28)

-12x - 12y = 4 3x + 3y = 0
Svetradugi [14.3K]

Answer:

no Solution

Step-by-step explanation:

-12x-12y=4\\ 3x+3y=0

12x-12y=4

add 12y to both sides

12x-12y+12y=4+12y

divid both sides by -12

\frac{-12x}{-12}=\frac{4}{-12}+\frac{12y}{-12}

simplfy

x=-\frac{1+3y}{3}

\mathrm{Substitute\:}x=-\frac{1+3y}{3}

\begin{bmatrix}3\left(-\frac{1+3y}{3}\right)+3y=0\end{bmatrix}

\begin{bmatrix}-1=0\end{bmatrix}
