1) Set up the problem

2) Start by multiplying to the right or the ones places, 3x7 is 21.

3) Let bring the 2 to the top of the tens columns and bring the one down.

4) Let imagine the are bottom number, 27, is are base number and we need to multiple each number from the top to the bottom. After multiplying 7 to 3, we multiply 7 to 2 which is in the tens columns. 7x2 is 14 but since we brought the first number of 21 or 2 to the top of the tens columns, we are going to add 14 to 2, which is 16.

5) With 16, we bring the 6 down and 1 to the next column, the hundreds.

6) After finishing off the tens columns by our 7, multiple 7 to 8. 7x8 is 56 and After adding 57 to 1 because of the 16, we bring the whole number down and tht first 4 digits below our equation should be 5761 if you multiple correctly.

7) We move on to the 2 of 27.

8) Add a zero below the 1 of 5761. This shows us that we our in the next number or in the tens places.

9)Multiple 2 to the 3 in the ones columns and we get 6. Bring it down below the 1 of 5761.

10) Now we multiple 2 to 2 of the tens columns. We get 4, bring it down below the 6 of 5761.

11) Multiple 2 to our final number, 8. 8x2 is 16. Bring the whole number down.

12) Now our two numbers are 5761 and 16460, add the both to get your answer. 5761 plus 16460 equal 22221, and there you go! Please warn me if there is a mistake!

Answer:

22221

Step-by-step explanation:

I set up the problem like this

823

x27

Then I multiplied 7 by 3 and carried over the one and then multiplied 7 by 2 and added one and carried the one over... I then multiplied 7 by 8 and added the one!

Then I put a zero where the 7 I first multiplied would be... I then multiplied 2 by 3 and then multiplied 2 by 2 and finally multiplied 2 by 8!

I then added up the two values! (Sorry this probably sounds confusing!)

The ratio of the sides of a triangle is 2 6 7 if the perimeter of the triangle is 195 meters
timama [110]

Answer: 91m

Step-by-step explanation:

We set three sides of the triangle equal to 2x,6x,7x; because there is the ratio 2:6:7, which x is a common factor of these three sides.

P = a + b + c

2x + 6x + 7x = 195

    15x = 195

        x = 13

7x suppose be the longest side of the triangle, we plug in 13 for x, then:

7x = 7(13) = 91 m

In a designated VIP seating section there must be an odd number of seats in each row and each row must have two more seats than
Vikki [24]

Let n be the total number of rows and there are x seats is the 1st row where x is an odd natural number.

As each row must have 2 more seats than the one before it, so

Number of seats in 2nd row = x+2

Number of seats in 3rd row = x+2+2=x+2x2

Number of seats in 4th row = x+2+2+=x+2x3

Similarly, the number of seats in (n-1)th row =x+2x(n-1)

the number of seats in n^{th} row, i.e last row =x+2x n.

As the front row must have one-quarter of the total seats in the back 2 rows combined, so

x =\frac 1 4 ( x+2\times(n-1) + x+2\times n) \\\\\Rightarrow 4x=2x+4n-6 \\\\\Rightarrow 4x-2x=4n-6 \\\\\Rightarrow 2x=4n-6 \\\\\Rightarrow x=2n-3\cdots(i)

So, the number of seats in the 1st row, x, and the total number of seats, n, must satisfy the equation (i).

For x>0, n\geq 3.

So, for n=3 rows

The number of seats in the 1st row, x= 2x3-3=3.

The number of seats in the 2nd row, = 3+2=5 as in subsequent rows, there will be 2 more seats.

and the number of seats in the 3rd row (last row)=5+2=7.

n can have any integral values satisfying n\geq 3.

Is it one of this
60
50
45
35
dangina [55]
Non of the above. The answer is 40 and I’m sticking to my guns !

Similar meaning you can assume they are proportionate and if every side is doubled then you should double the last. Another way is to use Pythagorean’s theorem and disregard the little triangle completely.

Both ways have me 40 !

What is the area of the shape?
ladessa [460]

Answer:

In total it is 19.5m. squared

Step-by-step explanation: split the shape into 2 :)

5 times 3 for rectangle area

3 times 3 for triangle and divide the total(9) by two since triangles are always like a half of a square.
