A=pi(radius)^2

Radius=Diameter/2

Radius= 14/2=7yds

A=3.14(7)^2

A=153.86yds

Radius = 14/2 =7
Area= pi (radius squared)
= 3.14(7x7)
= 3.14 (49)
= 153.86
≈ 153.9

The baker can decorate
42/30,
which would mean 42 cupcakes in 30 minutes,
and then you would get
1.4 cupcakes per minute.

Hope this helps and have a nice day:)

A guy wire to a tower makes a 72 degrees angle with level ground. At a point 30 ft farther from the tower than the wire but on t

So.. checking the picture below

we can say y = y, or just do a substitution and end up with

\bf tan(72^o)=tan(30^o)(30+x)\implies 3.08x=\cfrac{30}{\sqrt{3}}+\cfrac{1}{\sqrt{3}}x
\\\\\\
3.08x-\cfrac{1}{\sqrt{3}}x=\cfrac{30}{\sqrt{3}}\implies 2.5x\approx 17.32\implies x\approx \cfrac{17.32}{2.5}

once you know, how long is "x", then you can simply use the cosine of 72° to get "r"

thus    \bf cos(\theta)=\cfrac{adjacent}{hypotenuse}\qquad cos(72^o)=\cfrac{x}{r}\implies r=\cfrac{x}{cos(72^o)}

ahrayia [7]
First you add 3 twice to both sides of the swimming pool
12 + 6 = 18
15 + 6 = 21

The perimeter is the sum of all sides therefore

18 + 18 + 21 + 21 = 78

The answer is A

shepuryov [24]

Answer:

  • #3. 8

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Frequency of data </u>

  • 6

<u>Sum of data:</u>

  • 2 + 5 + q + 10 + 13 + 16 = 46 + q

<u>Sum of data as per mean and frequencies:</u>

  • 9*6 = 54

<u>Compare the sums:</u>

  • 46 + q = 54
  • q = 54 - 46
  • q = 8

Correct choice is #3. 8
