1 - A hallucination is an experience that involves the apparent perception of something not being present.

This includes:

  - auditory hallucinations (example: hearing music when there is none playing, or someone calling your name when your alone)

  - visual hallucinations (example: seeing someone / something that isn't really there)

  - touch hallucinations (example: feeling someone grab you or touch you when no one has)

2 - Actively looking for a mental illness such as Schizophrenia or Schizoaffective disorder is not something you should be doing. These mental illnesses have such a stigma around them that the person with it is dangerous that it can affect job opportunities, housing opportunities, relationship opportunities and so much more.

As much as you may say "Oh my hallucinations are so fun!!" for a lot of people they are scary and dangerous and are not something you should hope to have.

Get some help honestly - I'm not saying that to be rude - but this apparent want / need for hallucinations is not normal.

Self examination is the best term for this , it is a systematic observation and analysis of ones conscious experience. It normally happens when one feels is in a cross path situation and he is left in a dilemma not knowing which is the best direction to be taken.
