Arrange the following sublevels in order of <br> increasing energy: 3d, 2s, 4s, 3p.
ycow [4]
To arrange the sublevels in order of increasing energy, we add the principal shell and the maximum number of electrons of the specific sublevel. s has 2 electrons, p has 6 electrons, d has 10 electrons, and f and 14 electrons. in this case, a) 3 + 10 = 13b) 2 + 2 = 4c) 4 + 2 = 6d) 3 + 6 = 9
The order hence is 2s, 4s, 3p, and 3d

Fittoniya [83]
When heat energy at a constant pressure = the change of enthalpy

ΔH = Q

and when the internal energy of an ideal gas formula is:

ΔH = n.Cp.ΔT

and when Cp = (5/2) R   at a constant pressure of a monatomic ideal gas

∴Q = n.(5/2).R.ΔT

∴ ΔT = Q / [n.(5/2).R]

when Q is the heat required = 43.08 J (given)

and n is no.of moles = mass / molar mass

                                  = 1.1 g / 39.948 g/mol

                                  =  0.0275 moles

and R is gas constant = 8.314472J/mol K

by substitution:

ΔT = 43.08 J / (0.0275moles *(5/2) * 8.314472 J/mol K

      = 76.76  K

You are preparing a solution of lithium bromide to use during an experiment. The experiment calls for 909.7 mL a 18 M solution.
Zielflug [23.3K]

Answer:

16.37 moles of  lithium bromide.

Explanation:

909.7 mL of 18 M

= .9097 L of 18 M solution of lithium bromide .

no of moles required = .9097 x 18

= 16.37 moles of  lithium bromide.
