The mechanical advantage(M.A) of a real machine is always less than its velocity ratio(V.R) because mechanical advantage decreases due to the friction and weight of moving parts of the machine whereas the velocity ratio remains constant. ... The fundamental frequency of a string is given by:
f_1 =  \frac{1}{2L} \sqrt{ \frac{T}{\mu} }
where L is the string's length, T the tension and \mu the linear density of the string.

We can see that f1 is proportional to the square root of T: \sqrt{T}.
This means that if the new tension is half the initial value, the new fundamental frequency will be proportional to \sqrt{ \frac{T}{2} }= \frac{ \sqrt{T} }{ \sqrt{2} }=  \frac{f_1}{ \sqrt{2} }

So, the new fundamental frequency will be
f_1 ' =  \frac{367 Hz}{ \sqrt{2} }=259.5 Hz

coefficient of kinetic friction is μk = 0.59

The force required to  start crate moving is F_{s} =\mu_{s} mg.

but once crate starts moving the force of friction is reduced  F_{v} =\mu_{k} mg.

Hence  to keep crate moving at constant velocity we have to reduce the  force pushing crate ie F_{v} =\mu_{k} mg.

Then the above pushing force will equal the frictional force due to kinetic friction and constant velocity is possible as  forces are balanced.

Magnitude of the force

F_{v} =\mu_{k} mg\\F_{v} =0.59 \times 450 \times 9.8\\F_{v} =2601.9  N
