They can change the earths surface through weathering,erosion and deposition. They all can break rocks into smaller pieces and carry those pieces away and deposit them somewhere else.

Based on the list above the correct properties of solids are;

B) has a rigid shape that does not change easily

E) has particles that can wiggle but cannot move

Solids have a variety of properties that make them different from liquids and gasses. Their particles are fixed making them rigid and hard to change shape. The particles also have a low kinetic energy making it hard for the particles to vibrate. In addition to those properties, solids cannot be compressed into smaller sizes.

HOW DOES A GRAPH HELP YOU SEE ANOMALOUS DATA?
Ghella [55]

Answer:

Anomalies consist of one or more modifications, insertions or deletions. As was described in Section 3.1, there are only three types of changes that can be made to a graph. Therefore, anomalies that consist of structural changes to a graph must consist of one of these types. Assumption 4.

A certain gasoline engine has an efficiency of 35.3%. What would the hot reservoir temperature be for a Carnot engine having tha
levacccp [35]

Answer:

The temperature of hot reservoir is 669.24 K.

Explanation:

It is given that,

Efficiency of gasoline engine, \eta=35.3\%=0.353

Temperature of cold reservoir, T_C=160^{\circ}C=433\ K

We need to find the temperature of hot reservoir. The efficiency of Carnot engine is given by :

\eta=1-\dfrac{T_C}{T_H}

T_H=\dfrac{T_C}{1-\eta}

T_H=\dfrac{433}{1-0.353}

T_H=669.24\ K

So, the temperature of hot reservoir is 669.24 K. Hence, this is the required solution.

A skateboarder starts at point A on the ramp and rises to point B, a maximum height of h = 3.01 m above the top of the ramp.If t
blsea [12.9K]

Answer:

7.68m/s

Explanation:

At point A, height h= 0m where v=?

At point B, height of h = 3.01 m above the top of the ramp v= 0 m/s

The conservation of energy here will be energy at Point A equals energy at point B

g= acceleration due to gravity= 9.81m/s^2

(mgh + 1/2 mv^2)A = (mgh + 1/2 mv^2)B

✓But height h at point A= 0 m then energy at point A= 1/2 mv^2

✓At point B , the velocity v= 0 m/s, then Energy at point B= mgh

✓ if we equate both energy at point A and B we have

mgh=1/2 mv^2

Let us make v the subject of formula, and cancel out the "m"

v=√2gh

Then substitute the values

V= √2×9.81×3.01

V=7.68m/s

Hence, his initial speed (in m/s) at point A is 7.68m/s
