Answer: \$3834

Step-by-step explanation:

Three years ago Paulo's monthly salary was \$2783

Twelve years from now Paulo's salary will be \$8038

Suppose current salary is \$ x

and  Yearly increment is \$y

So,

\Rightarrow x-3y=2783\quad \ldots(i)

and \Rightarrow x+12y=8038\quad \ldots(ii)

From (i) and (ii) we get

\Rightarrow 15y=5255

\Rightarrow y=350.33

and x=2783+3\times 350.33

x=3834

So, monthly salary this year is \$3834

Anna11 [10]
So to find the ratio of the actual house to the house in the picture you would divide 72/4 to get 18. this means that the ratio is 18:1. Now multiply 2.5 x18 to get the real life height of the house. 2.5x18=45.
So the house is 45 feet tall.
Please anyone correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is right.

Simplify (5n^4)^−3. Assume n ≠ 0.
tekilochka [14]
Since the exponent (-3) is negative, flip the expression to: 1/(5n^4)^3.

Notice how the negative exponent becomes positive as you flip it.

Now evaluate the powers in the denominator: 1/((5^3)(n^4)^3

I separated the constant (5) from the variable (n) to show you how the powers are evaluated.

1/(5x5x5)(nxnxnxn)(nxnxnxn)(nxnxnxn)
—-> the power four means that there are 4 multiples of n in the parentheses. The power 3 corresponds to how many groups.

1/(125)(n^12)

= 1/125n^12
