Hello Kittyhacker14! :) I am Grace Rosalia, and I hope my answer wil help you!

First, we must calculate 15% of 300.

We do this like this:

300:100=3

Now we multiply it by 15:

3*15=45

So 15% of 300 is 45. (that's how many students arrive on foot)

Now we must compute how many students arrive by bus (it's done like that:

300*3/5=180 (that's how many students arrive by bus)

Now we must calculate how many students arrive by car.

That's how it's done:

300-180-45=75

So 75 students arrive by car.

15% of 300 = 45 ( foot )
300 x 3/5 = 180 ( bus )
therefore, students arrive by car = 300-180-45= 75

Bad White [126]

Answer:

A. P - Q

Step-by-step explanation:

Q(x) = (x³ + 2x² + 3)(x² -2)

= x⁵ - 2x³ + 2x⁴ - 4x² + 3x² - 6

P - Q = (x⁵ - 2x³ + 2x⁴ - 4x² + 3x² - 6) - (x⁴ + 3x³ + 2x² - x + 2)

P - Q = x⁵ - x⁴ + 2x⁴ - 3x³ - 2x³ - 2x² - 4x² + 3x² + x - 2 - 6

P - Q = x⁵ + x⁴ - 5x³ - 3x² + x - 8

What is the equation of the line with an x-intercept of -1 and a y-intercept of 2? y = 2x - 2 y = - 2x 2 y = 2x 2
guajiro [1.7K]
X intercept = -1,  y = 0           (-1, 0)

<span>y intercept = 2,  x = 0           (0, 2)
</span>
slope between (-1, 0) and (0, 2):

slope = (2 -0)/(0 - -1) =  2/1 = 2,           m = 2

Using point   (-1, 0)   x₁ = -1, y₁ = 0

y - y₁ = m(x - x₁)

y - 0 = 2*(x - -1)

y = 2(x + 1)

y = 2x + 2

If you can walk 3 1/3 miles in an hour, how many miles can you walk in 30 minutes, given the
Vedmedyk [2.9K]

Answer:

d = 1.67 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

Speed of a person,  s=3\dfrac{1}{3}\ mph

We need to find how many miles can you walk in 30 minutes, given the  same pace.

30 minutes = 0.5 h

3\dfrac{1}{3}\ mph = \dfrac{10}{3}\ mph

Speed = distance/time

d=v\times t\\\\d=\dfrac{10}{3}\ mph\times 0.5\ h\\\\d=1.67\ miles

So, the person will cover a distance of 1.67 miles
