Using the perimeter concept, it is found that the perimeter of the polygon is of 24.1 units.

---------------

  • The perimeter of a polygon is the sum of the lengths of all its sides.
  • One side has length 1 unit.

---------------

  • The second side is the hypotenuse of a right triangle with sides of length 3 and 4, thus, applying the Pytagorean Theorem:

s^2 = 3^2 + 4^2

s^2 = 9 + 16

s^2 = 25

s = 5

  • One of the sides has length of 5 units.

---------------

  • The third side is the hypotenuse of a right triangle of sides with lengths 5 and 7, thus:

s^2 = 5^2 + 7^2

s^2 = 25 + 49

s^2 = 74

s = 8.6

  • Length of 8.6 units.

---------------

  • The final side is the hypotenuse of a right triangle with sides of lengths  3 and 9, thus:

s^2 = 3^2 + 9^2

s^2 = 9 + 81

s^2 = 90

s = 9.5

  • Length of 9.5 units.

---------------

  • The lengths of the sides are: 1, 5, 8.6 and 9.5.
  • Thus, the perimeter is of:

P = 1 + 5 + 8.6 + 9.5 = 24.1

The perimeter of the polygon is of 24.1 units.

Please help!!! Which equation is in point-slope form and is depicted by the line in this graph?
Blizzard [7]
Y-y1=m(x-x1)
a point on the line is (x1,y1) and the slope is m

so
slope between (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
so

points (-2,3) and (3,0)
slope is (0-3)/(3-(-2))=-3/(3+2)=-3/5
a point is (3,0) Or (-2,3)

so it could be
y-0=-3/5(x-3) or y-3=-3/5(x-(-2)) which is equal to y-3=-3/5(x+2)
that's the answer
