Answer:

Even though the sun is 330,000 times more massive than earth, the distance makes it so its gravitational pull on us is negligeable compared to the earth's.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nesterboy [21]

The correct answer is - It is the part of the ocean where new crusts are formed.

The place marked with A on the map is the place in the ocean where the new crust is formed. That is a place where there's a divergent plate boundary, or rather a place where the tectonic plates are moving away from one another. The gap and cracks left between them are easy target for the magma from the mantle to penetrate towards the surface. As the magma reaches the ocean floor it starts to cool off very quickly, creating new crust, and slowly making a very large underwater mountain range known as mid-ocean ridge.

Can one individual represent and entire population? Why or why not
zubka84 [21]

Answer:

Explanation:

A representative does his/her utmost to convey the feelings of the majority of the group they speak for, and stands up for their interests. This might be for negotiation, voting, litigation, diplomacy, etc.

A leader, ideally, inspires their constituents and brings out the best in them, as in strength, ethics, spirituality, and so on.

Short version: a rep is an agent or conduit. A leader is a catalyst. Either job can be hard. And yes, it can be done for most of a population. Maybe not all, but not everyone can fit into the same mold.

Introduction Team Problem 2 You jump into the deep end of Legion Pool and swim to the bottom with a pressure gauge. The gauge at
Kaylis [27]

Answer:

Depth of the pool, h = 4.004 cm

Explanation:

Pressure at the bottom, P = 39240 N/m²

The density of water, d = 1000 kg/m³

The pressure at the bottom is given by :

P = dgh

We need to find the depth of pool. Let h is the depth of the pool. So,

h=\dfrac{P}{dg}

h=\dfrac{39240\ N/m^2}{1000\ kg/m^3\times 9.8\ m/s^2}

h = 4.004 m

So, the pool is 4.004 meters pool. Hence, this is the required solution.

The graph below represents the relationship between the force exerted on an elevator and the distance the elevator is lifted.
Stella [2.4K]

I have three problems with this question.

#1). If you copied the question exactly the way it's written,
then the question is written very badly.  The wording is
misleading, and the more you try to think about it and
puzzle it out, the more it'll damage your understanding
of Physics.

There is no relationship between the force exerted on an
elevator and the distance the elevator is lifted.

-- If the force is anything more than the weight of the elevator ...
even one ounce more ... then it'll lift the elevator as high as
you want.

-- If the force is anything less than the weight of the elevator ...
even one ounce less, then that elevator is headed for the bottom.

#2).  You didn't post any graph below, so if we need the graph
to answer the question, then we can't answer the question.

#3).  I guess that's OK, because you didn't ask any question.
