Answer: Slope = -7

Concept:

Here, we need to know the formula that helps to find the slope by two points.

The slope of a line is a number that describes both the direction and the steepness of the line.

Slope = Δy / Δx = (y₂ - y₁) / (x₂ - x₁)

Solve:

Given information

(x₁, y₁) = (1, 4)

(x₂, y₂) = (0, 11)

Given expression

Slope = (y₂ - y₁) / (x₂ - x₁)

Substitute values into the expression

Slope = (11 - 4) / (0 - 1)

Simplify the values in the parentheses by subtraction

Slope = (7) / (-1)

Simplify by division

\boxed{Slope=-7}

Hope this helps!! :)

-7 is the slope.

the slope formula is x2,y2-x1,y1
0-1=-1
11-4=7

the y goes on top of the x in the notation, so 7/-1 can be simplified to -7.

Hope this helps:)

A person is strolling along a moving walkway at a constant velocity of +1.00 m/s with respect to the walkway, which moves at a c
Bezzdna [24]
Refer to the diagram shown below.

The velocity of the person on the walkway relative to the ground is the velocity of the walkway (relative to the ground) plus the velocity of the person relative to the walkway.
It is
1.0 + 0.5 = 1.5 m/s

The person on the ground moves at - 0.2 m/s, which is in the opposite direction to that of the walkway and the person on the walkway.
Therefore the velocity of the person on the walkway relative to the person on the ground is
105 - (-0.2) = 1.7 m/s

Answer: 1.7 m/s

PLEASE HELP ME!!
Step2247 [10]

Answer:

A = $10,441.68

A = P + I where

P (principal) = $10,400.00

I (interest) = $41.68

Step-by-step explanation:

First, convert R as a percent to r as a decimal

r = R/100

r = 0.02/100

r = 0.0002 rate per year,

Then solve the equation for A

A = P(1 + r/n)nt

A = 10,400.00(1 + 0.0002/2)(2)(20)

A = 10,400.00(1 + 0.0001)(40)

A = $10,441.68

Summary:

The total amount accrued, principal plus interest, with compound interest on a principal of $10,400.00 at a rate of 0.02% per year compounded 2 times per year over 20 years is $10,441.68.
