Answer:

21 Pounds =

9.5254398 Kilograms

(rounded to 8 digits)

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Pounds : The pound or pound-mass (abbreviations: lb, lbm, lbm, ℔[1]) is a unit of mass with several definitions. Nowadays, the most common is the international avoirdupois pound which is legally defined as exactly 0.45359237 kilograms. A pound is equal to 16 ounces.
  • Kilograms : The kilogram (or kilogramme, SI symbol: kg), also known as the kilo, is the fundamental unit of mass in the International System of Units. Defined as being equal to the mass of the International Prototype Kilogram (IPK), that is almost exactly equal to the mass of one liter of water. The kilogram is the only SI base unit using an SI prefix ("kilo", symbol "k") as part of its name. The stability of kilogram is really important, for four of the seven fundamental units in the SI system are defined relative to it.

CAN SOMEONE HELP WITH THIS ASAP!!!
jek_recluse [69]

Answer: x=8

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we are given that ∠ABC and ∠DBC are complementary angles, we know that adding them together should give us 90°. We can use this to solve for x.

6x+13+4x-3=90         [combine like terms]

10x+10=90 [subtract both sides by 10]

10x=80 [divide both sides by 10]

x=8

Now, we know that x=8.

I need help solving this problem with proofs if at all possible
k0ka [10]

I don't really like these algebra problems which pretend to be geometry.

The bisector makes two equal angles, so

x/2 + 17 = x - 33

50 = (1/2) x

x = 100

That means ABC = 100/2 + 17 = 67 degrees

CBD = 100 - 33 = 67 degrees, equal so that checks

We're asked for ABC which is 67 + 67 = 134 degrees

Answer: 134°

7. Paula reduced the size of a rectangle to a height of 2 inches.
drek231 [11]

Answer: if the width was not effected then the width is still 24 inches

if the area stayed the same, then

find area

area=legnth times width

288=12 times 24

so the new height./legnth =2

288=2 times width

divide by 2

144=width'

the new width =144
