Considering the situation, and based on the laws end regulation codes established by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, IRB has the authority to approve research involving pregnant women.

IRB, an acronym for Institutional review board, under Subpart B, Section 46.203, stated that IRB has the jurisdiction to determine whether to approve research involving a pregnant woman.

Also, under Section 46.204, subsection D., IRB can approve this case whereby a research study is greater than minimal risk with no potential direct benefit to subjects. The study includes pregnant women.

Hence, in this case, it is concluded that the correct answer is, Yes, IRB can approve such research.

The way Amendment III protects the rule of law is (1.) Since it is not legal for the military to invade someone's home outside the limits of the law, citizens are protected from an unjust military.

What is the Rule of Law?

This refers to the principle that quite simply states that nobody is above the law and will be held accountable.

Hence, we can see that based on Amendment III, there is the mention of the quartering of soldiers without the consent of the owner of the house and this means that option A is correct.

how were the Latin American Revolutions similar to AND different from the American and/or French Revolutions?
slamgirl [31]
The Enlightenment was a philosophical movement in 18th-century Europe that criticized the sovereign rule of kings and promoted human reason. This movement, along with economic and political unrest within France, caused both the nobility and peasantry to revolt, ending centuries of feudal rule and giving rise to a national assembly. The revolution of 1789 produced turmoil in the years that followed, but it forever changed how the country was governed.

When Napoleon Bonaparte invaded Spain and Portugal in the early 19th century, the colonies established by those countries throughout the Americas worried they might be next. Yet Bonaparte's invasion weakened the imperial authority governing the colonies, giving their inhabitants an opportunity to fight for independence. It took nearly 25 years for all the colonies gain independence and put an end to imperial rule. This success was in large part due to the leadership of Simón Bolívar who, at a young age, was influenced and motivated by the Enlightenment's ideas.
