Answer:

<h3>answer is A some second row elements may have 7 or fewer valance electron</h3>

Explanation:

<h3>because as we know second row elements are from Li up to Ne; their atomic number is from 3 - 10 and when we work their electron configuration only the inert gas neon have 8 valance electrons ; the others have 7,6,5,4,3,2,1 from F up to Li respectively so the statement is true </h3><h3>other alternatives like b it is not true because there is one element only having 8 valance electrons so it is not true</h3><h3>D and C are not true because outer most shell cannot occupey more than 8 electrons because of that those elements cannot have more than 8 valance electrons</h3>

<h3>I think it is help ful for you </h3>

What is the vapor pressure (in kPa) of ethanol, CH3CH2OH, over a solution which is composed of 18.00 mL of ethanol and 12.55 g o
ladessa [460]

Answer:

The vapor pressure of ethanol in the solution is 10,27 kPa

Explanation:

To obtain the vapor pressure of a solution it is necessary to use Raoult's law:

P_{solution} = X{solvent}P_{0solvent} <em>(1)</em>

The moles of ethanol are:

18,00mL×\frac{0,789g}{1mL}×\frac{1 mol}{46,07g} = 0,3083 mol Ethanol.

Moles of benzoic acid:

12,55 g×\frac{1mol}{122,12g} = 0,1028 mol benzoic acid.

Thus, mole fraction of solvent, X, is:

\frac{0,3083 mol}{0,3083mol+0,1028mol} =<em> 0,7499</em>

Replacing this value in (1):

P_{solution} = 0,7499*13,693kPa = <em>10,27 kPa</em>

<em></em>

I hope it helps!

Hree carbon atoms are linked by single covalent bonds such that they form the shape of a v. all of the unshared electrons form c
7nadin3 [17]
Carbon atom having 4 valence electrons can form 4 covalent Bonds. As there are 3 carbon atoms in the molecule connected to each other by single bond. So the terminal carbons are left with 3 unbonded electrons and the central carbon is left with two unbonded electrons. So, terminal carbons will further form three single bonds with 3 hydrogen atoms each and the central carbon will form two covalent bonds with 2 hydrogen atoms, i.e.

                                             H₃C-CH₂-CH₃

Result:
This Molecule contains 8 Hydrogen atoms.

Calculate the density of methanol (CH3OH)?
myrzilka [38]
This question is incomplete so because of unavailability of proper information i will simply let you understand this by an example:
<span>lets say you have 4.2 moles of methanol in 5.67 L.

</span>Firstly convert the moles into mass

<span>mass = moles x molar mass of methanol</span>

<span>mass = 4.2 moles x 32.05 g/mol = 134.61 g </span>

<span>Density = mass / vol </span>
convert 5.67L into mL which is 5670mL
putting values
<span>134.61 / 5670 mL = 0.0237 g/mL
</span>hope you get it!
