Atom: has equal number of +ve charge (protons) and -ve charge electrons and hence atom has charge.

Neutrons (having no charge) and protons are present in nucleus. Electrons keep revolving around the nucleus in different shells.

5. Define transpiration, what problem occurs when stomata<br> open?
Karo-lina-s [1.5K]

Answer:

Transpiration is the process of water movement through a plant and it’s evaporation from aerial parts, such as leaves, storms and flowers. Water is necessary for plants but only a small amount of water taken up by roots is used for growth and metabolis.

Water loss is a problem that occurs.

Explanation:

While an open stoma is neccesary for the plant to undergo photosynthesis, it comes with a negative side effect: water loss. Over 95% of a plant’s water loss occurs through the storm via water vapor.
