6 0

Step-by-step explanation:

The sequence above is an arithmetic sequence

For an nth term in an arithmetic sequence

A(n) = a + ( n - 1)d

where a is the first term

n is the number of terms

d is the common difference

From the question

a = - 1

To find the common difference subtract the previous term from the next term

We have

d = 4 --1 = 4 + 1 = 5 or 9 - 4 = 5

Therefore d = 5

Substitute the values into the general formula

That's

A(n) = - 1 + (n - 1)(5) \\  =  - 1 + 5n - 5 \\  = 5n - 6 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:

To find A(50) substitute the value of n that's 50 into the formula above

A(50) = 5(50) - 6 \\   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  = 250 - 6 \\   \:  = 244

Hope this helps you

For bills gym membership, he pays $25 per month plus a one dollar charge per class he takes. Bills total for last month was $32.

7 classes because $32 -$25 = 7 (where $25 is for one month, and the 7 is how much is left over of the total and 1 class = $1 dollar)

O A PQR is reflected over the x-axis. What are the<br> coordinates of O'?
topjm [15]

Answer:

(8,-2)

Step-by-step explanation:

When reflecting something across the X axis the y axis coordinate is the one that will change to put the position further up or down.  In this case we are moving it down to the same amount below the axis that it is now above it.  That means that since it is currently 2 above the X axis it would then be 2 below the X axis making it at -2 so the coordinates would be (8,-2)

I hope this helps and please don't hesitate to ask if there is anything still unclear!
