Information on Kwon Manufacturing’s activities for its first month of operations follows: Purchased $101,700 of raw materials on

credit. Materials requisitions show the following materials used for the month. Job 201 $ 49,900 Job 202 25,300 Total direct materials 75,200 Indirect materials 10,320 Total materials used $ 85,520 Time tickets show the following labor used for the month. Job 201 $ 40,900 Job 202 14,300 Total direct labor 55,200 Indirect labor 25,900 Total labor used $ 81,100 Applied overhead to Job 201 and to Job 202 using a predetermined overhead rate is 80% of direct materials cost. Transferred Job 201 to Finished Goods Inventory. (1) Sold Job 201 for $168,860 on credit. (2) Record cost of goods sold for Job 201. Incurred the following actual other overhead costs for the month. Depreciation of factory equipment $ 33,700 Rent on factory building (payable) 670 Factory utilities (payable) 970 Expired factory insurance 4,700 Total other factory overhead costs $ 40,040 1. Prepare a job cost sheet for Job 201 and for Job 202 for the month. 2. Compute gross profit on the sale of Job 201.

1. The cost sheets for Job 201 and Job 202 are as follows:

                                     Job 201      Job 202       Total

Direct materials          $49,900      $25,300    $75,200

Direct labor                  40,900          14,300      55,200

Overhead applied       39,920         20,240       60,160

Total costs               $130,720      $59,840  $190,560

2. Gross profit for the sale of Job 201 = $38,140 ($168,860 - $130,720)

Data and Calculations:

Cost of raw materials purchased = $101,700

                                     Job 201      Job 202     Total

Direct materials          $49,900     $25,300   $75,200

Direct labor                  40,900         14,300     55,200

Overhead applied       39,920        20,240      60,160

Total costs               $130,720      $59,840  $190,560

Sales                        $168,860

Gross profit              $38,140

Thus, the cost of Job 201 sold is $130,720 with a gross profit of $38,140.

If f(x)= 20-3x, then find a if f(a)= -11.
Basile [38]

Answer:

53

Step-by-step explanation:

if f(a)= -11 the the equation is: 20-3(-11)

First, multiply -3 and -11:

20-3×(-11)

20+33

Now, add:

20+33= <u>53</u>

Which function has a domain where x does not =3 and a range where y does not =2? A. f(x)=(x-5)/(x+3) B. f(x)=2(x+5)/(x+3) C. 2(x
Natali5045456 [20]

Answer: D. (x+5)/(x-3)

Step-by-step explanation:

Domain = Set of all input values of a function.

range = set of all output values of a function.

Given: Domain: x\neq3   ; range = y\neq2

We do not include a value for domain if it makes the expression indeterminant .

Since all the functions in options are fractions, here the denominator does not equal to 0.

But in option C and D, the denominator can be zero if x=3.

So , domain for then it x\in {R-3}

Also, for option C if 2=2\dfrac{(x+5)}{(x-3)}

\Rightarrow\ x-3=x+5\\\\\Rightarrow\ -3=5.which is not true.

Wher as in option D, 2=\dfrac{x+5}{x-3}\Rightarrow\ 2x-6=x+5\Rightarrow\ x=11

Hence, Domain: x\neq3   ; range = y\neq2 is for option D.

The length of the rectangle is 8cm longer than the width.
masya89 [10]
The length of the rectangle is 8cm longer than the width.
l=w+8
If the length of the original rectangle is increased by 6cm and the width is increased by 3cm the perimeter is 76cm.
p=76=((l+6)+(w+3))*2=(l+6+w+3)*2=(l+w+9)*2

to solve this substitute l=w+8 into the p= equation:
p=76=((w+8)+w+9)*2=
76=(2w+17)*2
76=4w+34
42=4w
10.5=w

l=w+8=10.5+8=18.5

50 students studying both Maths and English. 90 students study either maths or english. If 25 students study eng not maths. How
In-s [12.5K]

Answer:

15 students study math and not English

Step-by-step explanation:

lets take the # or people who study math but not English as "x"

so 90 students study math or English

25 students study English and not math

and

50 study both

since 90 students study math or English that is what our equation will equal.

so

25+x+50=90

25+50=75

75+x=90

subtract "75" from both sides:

x=15

Hope this helps!

NEED HELP ASAP!! I have no idea how to complete the problem I just get that the answer is no solution
True [87]
Well since we can use a base of 1 we know that 1 - 45 is less than 4 but -1 + 45 is not, which follows the assumption that x>0, but now we need to know what x is less than to fit the inequality. If we use 5 as a trial we can see that 5 - 9 = -4 so 0<x<5 is your answer. Hope this helps I basically used trial and error. If you want to check try 3 or 4 for x and it will work but 6 will not.
