Given :-

• A triangle is given to us .
• The two sides of the triangle are equal .

To Find :-

• The value of x.

Solution :-

As we know that the angles opposite to the equal sides are equal . Hence the measure of two base angles will be 8x - 23° . Also we know that the angle sum property of a triangle is 180° . So ,

$\sf\longrightarrow$ 8x - 23° + 8x -23° +34°=180°

$\sf\longrightarrow$ 16x -12° = 180°

$\sf\longrightarrow$ 16x = 180° + 12°

$\sf\longrightarrow$ 16x = 192°

$\sf\longrightarrow$ x = 12°

Hence the required answer is 12° .
