Length + width = half the perimeter

66/2 = 33 feet

Length  +  width = 33 feet

List the factors of 260: 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, 13, 20, 26, 52, 65, 130 and 260.

Find the two factors that when added together equal 33:

13 + 20 = 33

The dimensions are 13 feet by 20 feet

carla is 8 years old. leo is 2 years younger than carla. kary is 6 years older than leo. how old is katy?
g100num [7]

Age of Kary is 12 years old

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

Given that,

Age of carla = 8 years old

<em><u>Leo is 2 years younger than carla</u></em>

Leo's age is 2 less than age of carla

Therefore,

Age of Leo = Age of carla - 2

Age of Leo = 8 - 2 = 6

Thus age of Leo is 6 years old

<em><u>Kary is 6 years older than leo</u></em>

Kary age is 6 more than age of Leo

Age of Kary = 6 + Age of Leo

Age of Kary = 6 + 6 = 12

Thus age of Kary is 12 years old

Jayden wants to lay sod on his front yard and on half of his back yard. His front yard has a length of 50 feet and a width of 80
Svetlanka [38]
Its an area equation. Area is length times width.

So to start, he needs 50x80 square feet in his front yard, BUT THAT IS ONLY HALF OF THE PROBLEM. For the front yard he needs 4000 sq. feet. For the back, it is different. He needs 10x40÷2. To first simplify, we do the multiplication. This comes to 400÷2. then it is simply 200.

Now for the easy part. Take the 4000 and add 200. Answer? 4,200.

Find the value of each variable.<br>
V125BC [204]

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the exact values of the trigonometric ratios

sin60° = \frac{\sqrt{3} }{2}, cos60° = \frac{1}{2}

sin45° = cos45° = \frac{1}{\sqrt{2} }

Using the sine ratio on the right triangle on the left

sin60° = \frac{opposite}{hypotenuse} = \frac{a}{4\sqrt{3} } = \frac{\sqrt{3} }{2}

Cross- multiply

2a = 4\sqrt{3} × \sqrt{3} = 12 ( divide both sides by 2 )

a = 6

Using the cosine ratio on the same right triangle

cos60° = \frac{adjacent}{hypotenuse} = \frac{c}{4\sqrt{3} } = \frac{1}{2}

Cross- multiply

2c = 4\sqrt{3} ( divide both sides by 2 )

c = 2\sqrt{3}

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Using the sine/cosine ratios on the right triangle on the right

sin45° = \frac{a}{b} = \frac{6}{b} = \frac{1}{\sqrt{2} }

Cross- multiply

b = 6\sqrt{2}

cos45° = \frac{d}{b} = \frac{d}{6\sqrt{2} } = \frac{1}{\sqrt{2} }

Cross- multiply

\sqrt{2} d = 6\sqrt{2} ( divide both sides by \sqrt{2} )

d = 6

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

a = 6, b = 6\sqrt{2}, c = 2\sqrt{3}, d = 6
