First the population slowly increase but then decreases due to unavailability of food resources.

Factors that effects increase in population

Food resources

Populations slowly increase and decrease based on food resources because there is a competition for food between two organisms which feed on the similar type of food. First the population of both organisms increases due to availability of sufficient food.

Carrying capacity

But when the population reaches beyond the carrying capacity the population of both organisms starts decreasing due to unavailability of food so that's why we can say that first the population slowly increase but then decreases due to unavailability of food resources.

In your own words, describe how the energy of a pendulum is changed as it moves through one cycle of its motion. Pls help online
ruslelena [56]

In a perfect world without air resistance, the top of the swing would have the most potential energy, but the least amount of kinetic energy. As the pendulum falls down, it gains more kinetic energy as it travels faster due to gravitational acceleration but loses more potential energy as it loses height. The total amount of energy in the system (the sum of kinetic and potential energy) stays the same.

Give the correct balanced equation for the single replacement reaction of magnesium with aluminum oxide.
Leni [432]

Answer;

C. 3Mg + Al2O3 → 3MgO + 2Al

Explanation;

  • Single replacement reaction is a type of reaction which one reactant reacts with another and makes a product by replacing one element by another.
  • Mg (Magnesium) reacts with Al₂O₃ (Aluminium oxide) and produces MgO (Magnesium oxide) and Al (Aluminium) as products. Here Al is replaced by Mg. Reaction is

            Mg + Al₂O₃ → MgO + Al

  • To balance the reaction equation, both left and right hand sides should have same number of atoms in each element.

The balanced equation will  be;

3Mg + Al2O3 → 3MgO + 2Al
