What is the simplified form of the following expression? Assume x greater-than-or-equal-to 0 and y greater-than-or-equal-to 0 2

(RootIndex 4 StartRoot 16 x EndRoot) minus 2 (RootIndex 4 StartRoot 2 y EndRoot) 3 (RootIndex 4 StartRoot 81 x EndRoot) minus 4 (RootIndex 4 StartRoot 32 y EndRoot) 5 (RootIndex 4 StartRoot x EndRoot) minus 4 (RootIndex 4 StartRoot 32 y EndRoot) 5 (RootIndex 4 StartRoot x EndRoot) minus 6 (RootIndex 4 StartRoot 2 y EndRoot) 13 (RootIndex 4 StartRoot x EndRoot) minus 10 (RootIndex 4 StartRoot 2 y EndRoot) 35 (RootIndex 4 StartRoot x EndRoot) minus 18 (RootIndex 4 StartRoot 2 y EndRoot).

To solve such questions we need to know more about expression.

<h2 /><h2>Expression </h2>

In mathematics, an expression is defined as a set of numbers, variables, and mathematical operations that are formed according to rules which are dependent on the context.

<h2 /><h2 /><h2>Given to us,</h2>

2\sqrt[4]{16x}-2\sqrt[4]{2y}+3\sqrt[4]{81x}-4\sqrt[4]{32y}+5\sqrt[4]{x}-4\sqrt[4]{32y}+5\sqrt[4]{x}-16\sqrt[4]{2y}+13\sqrt[4]{4}-10\sqrt[4]{2y}+35\sqrt[4]{x}-18\sqrt[4]{2y}

rearranging we get,

=2\sqrt[4]{16x}+3\sqrt[4]{81x}+5\sqrt[4]{x}+5\sqrt[4]{x}+13\sqrt[4]{4}+35\sqrt[4]{x}-2\sqrt[4]{2y}-4\sqrt[4]{32y}-4\sqrt[4]{32y}-16\sqrt[4]{2y}-10\sqrt[4]{2y}-18\sqrt[4]{2y}

we know that,

\sqrt[4]{81}=3\\\sqrt[4]{16}=2\\\sqrt[4]{32}=2\sqrt[4]{2}\\

therefore,

=4\sqrt[4]{x}+9\sqrt[4]{x}+5\sqrt[4]{x}+5\sqrt[4]{x}+13\sqrt[4]{x}+35\sqrt[4]{x}-2\sqrt[4]{2y}-8\sqrt[4]{2y}-8\sqrt[4]{2y}-16\sqrt[4]{2y}-10\sqrt[4]{2y}-18\sqrt[4]{2y}

taking \sqrt[4]{x} and \sqrt[4]{2y} as common

=[(\sqrt[4]{x})(4+9+5+5+13+35)]-[(2+8+8+16+10+18)(\sqrt[4]{2y})]

Further simplifying

=71\sqrt[4]{x}-62\sqrt[4]{2y}

What is the correct method of recording numerical information from an experiment?
olga55 [171]

Answer:

The correct method for recording numerical information from an experiment is the quantitative method.

Step-by-step explanation:

This method represents the way of recording that tracks variables (sometimes more than one) and how they interact with each other. This will help to establish relationship within your experiment.

Step-by-step explanation:

I don't see options but here's the solution

2x²+9x-3=-x²+x

2x²+x²+9x-x-3=0

3x²+8x-3=0

(3x-1)(x+3)=0

Therefore x=⅓ or-3

Helpppp plzzz The frequency histogram shows the lengths of trails in a large park.
Rus_ich [418]

Answer:

13 trails

Step-by-step explanation:

The histogram shows following numbers of trails:

  • <u>0 - 6 km long</u> - 5 trails;
  • 6 - 12 km long - 9 trails;
  • 12 - 18 km long - 7 trails;
  • 18 - 24 km long - 3 trails;
  • <u>24 - 30 km long</u> - 4 trails;
  • <u>30 - 36 km long</u> - 1 trail;
  • <u>36 - 42 km long</u> - 3 trails.

So, there are 5 trails with length less than 6 km and 4 + 1 + 3 = 8 trails that are at least 24 km long.

In total, 5 + 8 = 13 trails
