Answer:

For some, the hijab is worn by Muslim women to maintain modesty and privacy from unrelated males. According to the Encyclopedia of Islam and Muslim World, modesty concerns both men's and women's "gaze, gait, garments, and genitalia". The Qur'an instructs Muslim women and men to dress modestly.

Answer:

it's an act of love.

Explanation:

The hijab is worn by Muslim women as an act of obedience to God’s command in the Quran, where Allah (God) says: وَقُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنَاتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصَارِهِنَّ وَيَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوجَهُنَّ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا ۖ وَلْيَضْرِبْنَ بِخُمُرِهِنَّ عَلَىٰ جُيُوبِهِنَّ ۖ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ “And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment….” (Quran 24:31) This Quranic verse is one of many proofs for why Muslim women wear a headscarf. In this verse, Allah tells the believing women to wear their headcovers over their chests. The Quranic verse informed the believing Muslim women to take their Khimars (head covers) and throw it over their chests instead to cover the full body. When Muslims obey God’s commands, they are rewarded and earn His eternal pleasure. Hence, Muslim women wear the headscarf as an act of love and obedience towards their Creator.

Who selects the President when no candidate receives a majority of electoral votes?
zepelin [54]

The United States House of Representatives.

If no candidate receives the requisite number of votes in the electoral college, then the United States House of Representatives votes and decides who should be President.

The general thinking is that the House is the most representative of the American people and is therefore charged with expediently electing a President.

andriy [413]

The purpose of the Lewis and Clark expedition had the same purpose like many other expeditions: To explore unknown territories, establish trade with natives, show ownership

*In 1803 when the U.S purchased Louisiana from France, president Jefferson wanted to examine the land before settling there so he sent Lewis to be in charge of the expedition, and he invited Clark to come along

They also wanted to find a water way from the U.S to  the Pacific

* The U.S also wanted to show that they owned the territory before other powers tried to claim it
