Answer:

In this question, the answer would be "No solution"

Step-by-step explanation:

The reason for this question not having a solution is because the lines are parallel, which means that they never intersect. We know that the 2 lines are parallel because they both have the same slope but different y-intercepts. You can graph these equations on a graphing calculator to see that they would never intersect.

Sliva [168]
Hello!

To find the volume of a rectangular prism you use the equation

V = lhw

v is volume
l is length
h is height
w is width

Put in the values you know

180 = 6 * 5 * w

Divide both sides by 6

30 = 5 * w

Divide both sides by 5

6 = w

Answer is 6cm

Hope this helps!

By what number must you multiply a quantity in order to increase it by 25% in a single step?
Brrunno [24]

Answer:

5/4

Step-by-step explanation:

Lets suppose a quantity A that has a value of x

A = x

25% of A is = x/4

now adding this 25% to get 25% increase in the original value

A' = x+ x/4

    A' = 5x/4

    A' = 5*A/4

This means that , in order to increase the value by 25% in a single step we must multiply the the original value by 5/4.

Can somebody please tell me the correct numbers I should put in the y table thanks!!
vichka [17]

Answer:

(-2 , -7)

(-1 , -3)

(0 , 1)

(1 , 5)

Step-by-step explanation:

You are given a function y = 4x + 1. If you want to find the y values, just plug in the x values wherever there is x and you should get the corresponding y values.

y = 4( - 2) + 1

y =   - 8 + 1 =  - 7

y = 4( - 1) + 1

y =  - 4 + 1 =  - 3

y = 4(0) +  1

y = 1

y = 4(1) + 1

y = 5

The x values and their corresponding y values are:

(-2 , -7)

(-1 , -3)

(0 , 1)

(1 , 5)
