The answer is option A "second." The SI unit of time is a second other units of measure consist of mass, metre, temperature, and kilogram. A second is how you measure time because how 60 seconds equal a minute, 60 minutes equal a hour, 24 hours equal a day then so on.

Hope this helps.

If 507 g FeCl2 were used up in the reaction FeCl2 + 2NaOH Fe(OH)2(s) + 2NaCl, how many grams of NaCl would be made?
Ket [755]
Number of moles of FeCl2 used = mass/ molar mass
Number of moles = 507/126.751 = 4.
If one mole of Fe reacts with two moles of sodium
Then 4 moles of Fe produces 8 moles of sodium.
Number of moles of sodium = mass/molar mass
Molar mass of sodium chloride = 23 +35.5 = 58.5 g/mol
Hence mass = 8 * 58.5 = 468 g. Hence Option A.

The volume of a sample of nitrogen is 6.00 liters at 35oC and 0.75 atm. What volume will it occupy at STP?
joja [24]
The  volume that  will  occupy  at STP  is  calculated   as  follows
by use  of ideal  gas  equation
that is  PV=nRT  where n  is  number of  moles  calculate  number of moles

n= PV/RT
p=0.75 atm
V=6.0  L
R = 0.0821  L.atm/k.mol
T=  35  +273= 308k
n=?

n=  (o.75  atm  x  6.0 L)/( 0.0821 L.atm/k.mol  x 308 k)=  0.178 moles

Agt  STP  1 mole=  22.4 L  what obout  0.178 moles

=  22.4  x0.178moles/ 1moles =3.98 L( answer C)
