A moving car hits the breaks and starts to slow down. The car was moving 35 m/s when hitting the breaks and slows at a rate of 7

m/s/s. What is the final velocity of the car after 4 seconds?
Physics

7 miles per second.

It would take 5 seconds to stop because 35 divided by 7 = 5.

It would slow 28 miles in 4 seconds because 7 x 4 = 28.

35 - 28 = 7.

CH4 + 2O2 → CO2 + 2H2O The number in front of a compound in a balanced chemical equation is known as a(n) A) charge. B) coeffici
Tamiku [17]
The numbers in front of a compound is called a subscript. It shows how many atoms of that specific element it is next two that is involved in the reaction or is in that compound.

The answer is then D.

Coefficient is found behind the compounds, the charges are written above.

The earth’s radius is 6.37 × 10 6 m ; it rotates once every 24 hours. What is the earth’s angular speed? Viewed from a point abo
Advocard [28]

Answer:

a) the angular speed of the Earth's rotation is 7.272 × 10⁻⁵ rad/s.

b) Viewed from the North Pole, Earth's angular speed rotates in an anticlockwise direction. Therefore, the angular velocity is positive.

c) Earth's speed at a point on the equator is 463.23 m/s.

d) the speed of a point on the earth’s surface halfway between the equator and the pole is 231.61 m/s.

Explanation:

a) The angular speed of the Earth's rotation is:

ω = 2π / T

where

T is the period

ω = 2π / (24 hr × (3600 s / 1 hr))

ω = 7.272 × 10⁻⁵ rad/s

b) Viewed from the North Pole, Earth's angular speed rotates in an anticlockwise direction. Therefore, the angular velocity is positive.

c) Earth's speed at a point on the equator is:

v = r × ω

v = (6.37 × 10⁶ m) × (7.272 × 10⁻⁵ rad/s)

v = 463.23 m/s

d) The radius of the circle in which the point moves is half of Earth's radius. Therefore,

r = 1/2(6.37 × 10⁶ m)

r = 3.19 × 10⁶ m

Therefore, the speed of a point on the earth’s surface halfway between the equator and the pole is:

v = r × ω

v = (3.19 × 10⁶ m) × (7.272 × 10⁻⁵ rad/s)

v = 231.61 m/s

Solar cells convert what type of energy into electrical energy?
zysi [14]
I think the correct answer from the choices listed above is option D. Solar cells convert electromagnetic energy into electrical energy. This is because the photons from the rays of light are electromagnetic waves or particles. Hope this answers the question.
