Generally the  time difference between the arrival of longitudinal seismic with respect to Transverse waves is mathematically represented as

     \Delta  t  = t_p - t_s

=>  \Delta  t  =\frac{d}{v_p}  -\frac{d}{v_s}

=>   d = \frac{\Delta t}{ \frac{1}{v_p} - \frac{1}{v_s}  }

=>   d = \frac{120 }{ \frac{1}{8000} - \frac{1}{4500}  }

=>   d = 1.23 *10^{6} \  m
